Rachael is a gifted and superb teacher. From the very first lesson, she helped me
understand key principles of tango and how to execute specific steps, something
that I appreciated very much as a beginner;
but she also was able to convey, once we started dancing, the complex
and subtle connections that emerge between tango dancers ---trust, belief, empathy, attention to the
moment, and resilience. I am very
grateful to Rachael for having introduced me to tango. I can’t imagine a better start.

My husband and I came to Argentian tango lessons with just a little trepidation. We have had dancing lessons in the past, and they haven't always gone as well as what we would have hoped. Well, were we in for a fantastic surprise. Rachael met us on the thursday evening that we started our 9 lesson course. She was calm, very experienced, and just brought the best out in us. We had fun, and learnt so much. It was such an amazing time, that I would recommend it to anyone. We both just wanted to do the best that we could for Rachael.

Learning Argentine tango is an experience on its own. Rachael made this easy, fun and a loving memory. I came across tango by chance but now I am an avid fan and a lover of this beautiful dance. All thanks to our gifted, talented and ever-so-patient Rachael

Rachael makes every Tango class enjoyable, educational and so much fun. She is very sensitive to every student's learning needs and encourages you to learn Tango without pressure every step of the way to the best of your ability. She also creates a very friendly and relaxing environment. I strongly recommend her Nuevo Tango lessons to anybody.

A recent trip to Cape Town gave us the opportunity to take some tango lessons, something that is not available where we stay in KZN. We chose Rachael Glaser because we liked the way she presented herself on her Libertango internet site and we arranged two private classes with her.
Now at home again, as we reflect upon our short stay in the Cape and the things we brought back with us, we have some consumables which will soon be gone and some memories which will fade over time. What will stay with us and develop further are the things we learned from our tango lessons.
What an experience it was to spend those two hours with Rachael! We expected that we might learn a few new dance steps, which we did, but we came away with a whole new appreciation that Argentine tango is much more than just another dance with some sexy moves thrown in.
Rachael's teaching was excellent and there was no doubting her expertise and experience. She quickly tuned into us and established a rapport, and was very enthusiastic and interactive. She showed a keen eye in spotting our problem areas (perhaps not so difficult with us) and, most importantly, knew the subtleties of how to correct them. We liked that she dealt with both physiology and attitude which were key factors in achieving the most significant outcome: that she laid the foundation for us to develop further by ourselves.
Thank you Rachael; we are much looking forward to the next time.

Thank you very much for crossing my path on this journey of life. I said you are a special teacher...I now know why I said it . You exude a special spirituality which I respect and have derived something beyond normal consciousness. Thank you very very much. I will continue to want to learn and experience the meditative aspect of the Tango.

You have an informal, easy-going way of teaching which really works well ... the technical aspect can get people in their heads too much & you've kept it fun and made it feel really easy. I particularly liked the fact that you are so encouraging. Your lightness about tango made it clear that it's a social, fun thing - thanks so much for that! I loved that you stressed the connection between dancers rather than fancy steps or technical brilliance ... that gives everyone a chance & then dancing's more about a bigger picture (something spiritual) and not small-minded competition or constant striving.

It certainly was one of the most exciting and enjoyable activities I have done in a long time. You are an outstanding teacher and I will continue to highly recommend your course

Tango looks to be dramatic and emotional – and it is. Rachael managed to encapsulate these two emotions into her teaching – while at the same time making the lessons fun. She teaches the soul of the Tango as opposed to just the steps. My partner and I felt a connection that was different to anything we had experienced before and we thoroughly enjoyed our 6 courses. And it is very good exercise. Up for a challenge…learn to TANGO!

Your classes are amazing and you are a great teacher. Very inpsiring.

I loved learning the subtlety in communicating shared movement. The intimacy of the dance and the wonderful, non-threatening instruction for a first time dancer. To learn to dance with someone is a beautiful gift. Thanks!

Thanks for introducing us to the Libertango culture. We so much enjoyed every moment. You are a wonderful instructor! We will see you more as we love to tango!
